Cincinnati Skyline Chili
1 package (2.25 oz.) skyline chili mix
6 cups water
6 oz. can Hunts tomato paste
1 ½ lb. lean ground beef
1 tablespoon sugar
1 can (16 oz.) Rosarita Restaurant Style Refried beans. Added for taste and as a thickening.
1 teaspoon Marjoram
1/4 teaspoon cayenne red pepper
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon ground mint leaves
1/2 teaspoon all spice
1 teaspoon dehydrated onions
1 teaspoon mild paprika​


Add everything to a pot with 6 cups water breaking up the uncooked ground meat and refried beans with a potato masher. Bring everything to a boil while stirring. Reduce heat to a simmer for 1 to 1 ½ hours stirring occasionally. Add small amount of water if needed to keep up liquid level  

Serve warm plain or over pasta

The Original Skyline Chili recipe is still a secret but this is an amazing taste closeness.
